Echeverias 1
The genus Echeveria is named after the 18th century Spanish botanist Atanasio Echeverria Codoy. However, the naming of the species in this genus has become rather complicated, probably due to the ease with which they are hybridized. The plant name on the left (if underlined) provides a link to a photo. The ø symbol indicates approximate diameter and the ~ symbol indicates "aproximately". Echeveria agavoides 'Prolifera'
AKA "Apple Green"
When we first obtained this we labeled it "Apple Green" and then simply Echeveria hybrid but finally discerned that it should have been labeled 'Prolifera'. As the name indicates, it produces a quantity of offsets. It has hints of rosey pink on the tip and undersides of the leaves in winter. These tend to stay green in summer, more colorful with pink blush accents during the winter months. (Description based on our experience in Portland.) 2"
